We are very proud to announce that we have been awarded the Young Carers Charter at Tow Law Millennium Primary School.
We are committed to finding ways of listening to and supporting any young person in school who may have a caring role or responsibilities for others at home. We hope that we can ultimately improve the educational experiences and achievements of these pupils and also empower them to seek help and support when necessary. There is an understanding that many young carers shoulder responsibilities well beyond their years, and our school continues to work hard to support these pupils to become the best that they can be, despite the pressures they face.
