Class 2 and Class 3 children really enjoyed their visit to the Egyptian Gallery in the Great North Museum. They all had lots of fun finding out about Egyptian artefacts and life in Ancient Egypt, especially when they got to see a real preserved mummy.
After lunch they enjoyed a visit to the fossil hall and seeing the T Rex skeleton.
The children raised £41 in donations to the museum and will have a permanent record of their donation with a blue butterfly with our school name displayed in the butterfly hall.
We have added some photographs for you to enjoy.
