X Factor

September 4, 2017 by helendobson

It was Tow Law X Factor on Friday 7 July, and what a night! The acts enthralled and amazed the audience and judges with a wide variety of music. Twenty two children took part in the evening and their hard work paid off when they all performed beautifully either singing or dancing. Some children did both and must have been exhausted by the end of the night. They worked tirelessly for months to improve their performances and it all paid off. The children performed to a packed audience. They are all winners as it takes a huge amount of guts to get on stage and sing and dance in front of the huge audience. However we do have an audience vote, the votes were collected and sent to be counted. During this Kacey (an ex pupil and ex winner of Tow Law X Factor) peeformed a beautiful rendition of Running by Beyonce, followed by the raffle being drawn. Then the moment came and Grace was announced the winner of X Factor 2017 singing My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion. It was a very emotional moment for Grace and the realisation that she had won overwhelmed her. However, all the performers joined her on stage and supported her as she sang the winning song to round the evening off. It was as ever a wonderful night and a joy to see so many talented children. Thank you to everyone who supported the event, parents, staff, carers and helpers, judges an Mr and Mrs Shaw for the great balloons. The final thanks goes to the children, you were all amazing!
