Jenny Linsley

As a Co-opted Governor and a member of the Finance, Premises and Personnel Committees. I am delighted to be working with Tow Law Millennium Primary School, and I am impressed by the passion and dedication of the Leadership Team and Staff for every child, in terms of academic ability, personal development, wellbeing and resilience.

Having worked in the private sector for many years, I have developed skills in leadership, problem solving and strategic planning which I will contribute in my role as a School Governor. In my previous role as the Office Manager at the school, I worked with the staff to bring about improvements to systems and changes to the way the school worked during the pandemic and for years to come.

Academically, I am a part-qualified accountant and recently qualified as a School Business Manager, which will help me to support the Leadership Team.

I enjoy working in Weardale, the sense of community is very engaging and people are very proud of their roots, firmly grounded in the area and demonstrating resilience in very challenging times. I hope that I will serve the community well during my term as Governor.
