Our football team enjoyed their matches in the 2015-2016 year. They played in the central venue league at Parkside Academy in Willington on the astroturf. Thanks to all parents who came to support us. It is a tough league with some very experienced teams from local schools. There were 7 teams in the league and the children played each team twice resulting in 12 matches over the year. The children improved drastically throughout the year and managed to win one match and draw two after some initial defeats.
Happily the football team have continued to train for the new season and started on Friday 23 September so if anyone would like to come to training please come and get a club letter and join us. They will continue to train on a Friday night after school and the matches will start on Wednesday 9th November. This year we are in a league with 8 teams which means there will be 14 matches to play. Anyone who comes to training will be considered to play for the football team.
