On Friday 4th November, children across the school learnt about different Festivals of Light. In EYFS, they learnt about Bonfire Night. They made fireworks paintings and sang a lovely song to the whole school in assembly. Class 2 and 4 learnt about the Hindu festival of Diwali. They created rangoli patterns and lanterns. Class 2 learnt about the story of Rama and Sita and retold this in assembly. Class 3 learnt about the Jewish festival of Hanukkah. Class 1 compared the different festivals of light from the different religions.
