On Friday 20th January we celebrated Chinese New Year in school.
EYFS learnt a song and made lanterns, KS1 made Chinese dragons, LKS2 researched the Year of the Rooster and UKS2 found out key facts about Chinese New Year.

This meant that we had to wait until a later date to fly the kites but you can see from the photographs below that the children had a fantastic time flying the kites (despite the many tangled kite strings!).
